Sorry I Haven't Posted and Something You Need to Stop Doing Right Now

Happy New Year Direct Sales People!!

First I am sorry I haven't been posting. There were holidays and I was sickly it was a whole thing. I hope everyone had a great holiday and you are ready to rock it.

I have recently been taking a look at the marketing strategy of most people in direct sales. It's hounding. I want to talk about something you might be doing and not thinking of. I'm going to ask you to stop, but of course you have your own free will to do what you want. This is a suggestion.

STOP JUST ADDING PEOPLE TO YOUR PARTIES

I get a notification and it says you have been added to the private event, Cassie's Fabulash Party. This is a pretend example but it happens. First of all I know you aren't looking at who you are adding because I sell Younique so I am not going to purchase from someone else's party. Second, the first time I am hearing about this party is when you ADD me. It isn't even a choice, I have the option to leave it, but being added without consent leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

You assumed I wanted to come to your event. You assumed I had the time and that day wasn't a day that something else was going on. An invitation is different. An invitation gives someone the chance to decide if they want to come.

So don't add someone assuming they want to come makes an ass out of the whole situation. I know that some of your uplines or your DS training might tell you to do that. Just don't.

Invite me! Don't add me!

Thanks for reading.
