Don't Waste Money and Get in the Hole with Direct Sales

I know that it's a long title to a blog post, but this is something that is important to me. You have to know your budget always. I will give you an example of something that happens if you aren't careful, then we will talk prevention and doing things the right way.

You join the company your friend is so enthused about or that you have been researching.

The benefits of joining and the commission plan is amazing! You are super excited even though you must sign up for an autoship. That's okay you think, you'll sell enough you won't have to pay. Your sponsor tells you, you'll make enough to always get your autoship free just watch.

You try, but you just don't quite get there.

So you spent $100.00 to join
$75.00 on your first autoship of products

Now time has rolled around for your next autoship and that money is coming out. You didn't make the sales, but you just know you will this time. Maybe you buy samples to give someone, maybe you upgrade and get more products so you can sell them.

You are motivated, you've got this, and you miss it again.

That's $75.00 more dollars. You can see where I am going with this. You have to invest money to make money, it's just the way it is. You just need to make sure it is something you can afford to do. Pretty soon, it becomes too much, and you have wasted your time and money for nothing.

If you are smart about it, you research a company, how their autoships work, if they have them, etc. and then you look at what you could spend a month without any commission. Take making money from the company out of the equation. If you can't afford to join without selling more than your goal each month, then you need to reevaluate.

Sure, you might do fantastic and surpass your expectations. The fact is there are no guarantees and sometimes when you work really hard you still don't get the results you are working for. It is important that you make sure trying to join a direct sales company to make more money isn't actually going to put you in the hole. When it seems like a great idea at the time, it might not be the best fit for you.
